Jackie has worked in the medical field since 1998, taking care of patients in hospital settings as a floor nurse. moved into travel nursing in 1999, here she was able to expand her knowledge and experience as a nurse by working in different areas and hospital specialties. Wanting to do more for her patients, she started training to become a licensed massage therapist in 2006, receiving her license to practice from the Florida Board of Massage therapy in 2007. After many months of working on clients, she thirsts for more. Fascinated by energy and body work and the profound positive effects of this modality, she decided to learn from one of the original countries in which this modality was born. This ancient therapy brought her to travel as far as Thailand, learning directly from Thai Masters. Learning about the body’s energy lines which will help in balancing stagnant areas relieving and re-energizing areas of needs. To further her ways of therapy, Jackie recently completing her Certification as a Manual Lymphatic Drainage Practitioner from an accredited and recognized accrediting body; Lymphology Association of North America (LANA). This program uses Dr. Vodder Techniques which is a key element proper therapy practice. Working with clients that are post-op from reconstructive and plastic surgery. Manual Lymphatic Drainage assists the body in moving accumulated fluids that typically occur after surgery or trauma. Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) also helps in reducing pain, healing time, scaring, seromas, and infections.
